Terms and Conditions for submitting articles on HOMEdigz.com
Only submit original content. No rebranding someone else’s work. By submitting an article, you declare to be the sole owner and author and own 100% of all copyrights pertaining to it. You’re creative! Write something unique!
Submitted articles must be a minimum of 250 words and no more than 2,000 words. The ideal length is 400-750 words. Trust us, no one reads the longer articles!
You can provide a Description (1-2 sentences that summarizes your article) to encourage viewers to read your article. Do not use html tags, your name or obvious self-promotion.
HOMEdigz reserves the right to republish your articles anywhere on our website, blog or syndicate networks. Likewise, your submission gives unconditional permission for your article to be reprinted elsewhere. We ask publisher(s) to reprint the article in its original state and credit is given to the original author. This is a good thing! Please note that the enforcement of these terms is at your risk and cost, not HOMEdigz. It is your responsibility to take any legal action against those who abuse your copyright to protect your interests.
You can include up to 4 helpful links in your article, as long as they are not affiliate links.
Don’t submit an article that is a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype. That’s not the spirit of the HOMEdigz.com community. Remember you can promote your business through the HOMEdigz Business Directory, but keep your self-promotion out of your articles (readers see through that anyway!).
You will not receive compensation from HOMEdigz for your articles. We do not pay for article submissions and we do not require publishers to pay you for their use of your article. There are no guarantees your article will be reprinted by anyone.
One way HOMEdigz pays for its existence is through online advertising. We reserve the right to publish ads on the same pages as your articles.
Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting. Pretend your Mom is going to read it first!
Submitting an article to HOMEdigz does not guarantee inclusion on the site. We reserve the right to reject an article submission or remove and existing article for any reason.
If a business leaves the HOMEdigz.com community, articles published may remain on the site at HOMEdigz.com’s discretion.
Please select the most appropriate “Room” category for your article. You can also select “type” of article (décor, improvement, organization, or other) if you like. These categories help viewers search for relevant content. We reserve the right to change your selected categories as necessary.
If your article does not conform to these guidelines, we may edit your article to comply.
